I’ve had a torrid affair with social media for the greater part of a decade and learned some invaluable lessons along the way. I have had my fair share of successes and failures, but I learned that if you’re not making mistakes, then you’re not trying new things. And so it goes with social, that new tactics and channels are created everyday, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be successful. All it takes is a bit of understanding.

5. Understand what’s working.

By the way, this can also be referred to as your social media plan. But let’s face it, all of this stuff takes time to figure out. My hope is that if I can save a little time and stress when it comes to social media for your events, then I will.
