Robert Coggin, “Bob” is currently Vice Chairman Emeritus of Travelport GDS; the world’s leading global travel distribution provider to the travel industry. Bob enjoyed a 42-year career with Delta Air Lines where he became an officer of the company in 1983. While at Delta, Mr. Coggin served in various positions in both Operations and Sales in his first 25 years. As Executive Vice President of Marketing, he was one of four members of Delta’s Executive Council and participated in decision making and the formation of policy related to issues such as aircraft acquisition, mergers and acquisitions, expansion, technology and alliances. Bob retired from Delta in May of 1998 as Executive Vice President of Marketing and a member of Delta’s Executive Council. Following his retirement from Delta, Bob accepted a position with Accenture as Senior Advisor in their Travel and Transportation Practice.
In March of 2002 Bob joined Cendant as Executive Vice President of Travel Distribution Services and was later promoted to Vice Chairman, a title he retained after the Cendant Travel Distribution Services group became Travelport. He currently serves in an advisory capacity as Vice Chairman Emeritus.
Bob serves as a Director on several Corporate Boards including Logical Choice Technologies, Dr. Tango and Oceania Cruises. Mr. Coggin has also consulted with large businesses including Priceline.com, The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Flightservice.com, and World Airways.
Community service is very important to Bob which is demonstrated by the various organizations that he has and continues to serve including the Atlanta Convention and Visitor Bureau as Chairman of the International Marketing Task Force, member of the Newnan City Council, Past Chair and member of the Executive Committee of the Chick-fil-a Bowl, Executive Committee member of the Atlanta Sports Council, member of the Coweta Charity Health Clinic, and Chairman of the Endowment Committee of the Newnan Presbyterian Church. Bob attended Alabama Christian College and completed the Executive MBA Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business.
Greg Hammer is former Vice President of Marketing for Aon Consulting in Atlanta, where he was responsible for all strategic and operational marketing activities for a national executive benefits consulting practice. In addition to directing all marketing functions such as public relations, brand strategy and client communications, Hammer created business development support for consulting teams of attorneys, actuaries and accountants. In addition, Hammer collaborated with business-line managers to create revenue-generating marketing campaigns and balancing strategic activities with overseeing 70+ client communications projects per year.
Prior to Aon, Hammer was Director of Worldwide Marketing Services and Sales Support at Worldspan, LP, a leading provider of travel e-commerce and technology for thousands of travel suppliers, retailers, Websites and corporations. At Worldspan, Hammer directed a multi-national team of managers and staff in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, developing a unified, worldwide marketing communications structure to support operations and deliver a cohesive brand strategy in more than 70 countries. Before Worldspan, Hammer spent several years in the Marketing Automation department at Delta Air Lines, most recently serving as a producer of major customer conferences and events.
Greg Hammer earned a Bachelor’s degree in interpersonal communications from Ohio University and a Masters degree in business administration from Xavier University. He is a member of the American Marketing Association, the International Association of Business Communicators and the Public Relations Society of America.
