Client Services Technical Analyst Level 1
Summary
Supports technical needs on an ASP software platform for users in the Event Management field. Operates multi-line telephone system to triage incoming calls and supports or directs callers to appropriate personnel. QA and testing on software upgrades and new products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answers & triages incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
- Tracks each call as a case and follows up accordingly using problem management database, and maintains history records and related problem documentation.
- Learns the product via the SignUp4 University and assumes teaching role for clients on the software platform.
- Testing and QA on product ugrades, branding and new product releases.
- Handles problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to supervisor or technical staff.
- Meets both internal and external (client) deadlines as assigned by management.
- Works on special projects that are assigned by management.
- Prepares standard statistical reports, such as help desk incident reports.
- Consults with programmers to explain software errors or to recommend changes to programs.
- Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Internet software. HTML, Flash, and Dreamweaver are a plus however will train the right person.
Sales Executive
Summary
Sells products and/or services for Strategic Meetings Management to business from the sales office or the customer's place of business by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads
- Makes daily phone calls on regular and prospective customers to solicit sales.
- Learn the software thoroughly by taking all of the SignUp4 University classes.
- Displays or demonstrates product and emphasizes salable features.
- Quotes prices, credit terms, and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Track personal productivity and call levels to verify that quotas and expectations are being met.
- Estimates the start date for the customer, based on knowledge of the SignUp4 production schedules.
- Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
- Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliverables.
- Self propel networking and other avenues of pursuit that result in viable sales leads translating into revenues.
- Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Internet software.
