I have some exciting news to share with the event industry and our customers.
SignUp4 is joining Cvent. Based out of Tyson’s Corner, VA, Cvent has over 1,800 employees worldwide, is publicly traded on the NYSE, and is the leading provider of event technology solutions. We have a long history of respect for the Cvent team, and many of our customers are already using Cvent’s venue sourcing and mobile app solutions. Both companies have helped shape the meetings and events industry over last 15 years, and by combining forces, we expect to continue driving that evolution.
Doug, Mark, and I are very excited about the next phase of our journey. As we were considering this decision, our number one focus was our customers’ success. Working with Cvent leadership, we have a shared vision for the future and are confident that together, we will continue to deliver on our commitment to customer success. As we blend our support operations with Cvent’s 300 person client services team, we expect to see the same superior service available to all customers under the Cvent solutions umbrella.
We’re also excited to unite with Cvent’s amazing technology team. With nearly 500 people dedicated to developing and delivering innovative solutions, we will be able to build the tools event planners need faster than ever before. Working together, we can broaden the offerings we are able to provide to our customers.
I’m sure there will be questions, and we will be arranging individual time with each of our customers to address them as quickly as possible. But rest assured, your existing events will not be affected, and we will work closely with each of our customers to ensure their continued success.
As I look back on the SignUp4 journey over the last 15 years, I am proud of what we’ve accomplished, and extremely excited for the next chapter.
